My core priority will be working with the people of Stockport day in and day out to help make Stockport a better place for us all. Not playing the endless games of Westminster politics.
If I am elected, I will accept a wage that is no more than the average for a worker in Britain and accept no payments other than actual expenses incurred on carrying out MP duties. All other pay usually received by an MP will go towards the benefit of the people of Stockport. I will work no job other than that of an MP.
I am firmly committed to helping to defeating all cuts and attacks on working class people, helping to achieve equality for all and to building a working-class party for socialism.

I’ve always been a Labour voter and that’s how I was brought up, especially under Jeremy Corbyn. I’ve been illegible to vote since June 2022 and have still yet to do so, including mayoral elections. 4th July will be the 1st time I actually vote and I will be voting for you Ashley. Our views align perfectly and I believe you would do Stockport the world of good. we both know Stockport is a safe seat for labour however I wish you all the best in the upcoming election
